These numbers reflect sustained demand in a city that hosts nearly 40 percent of India's IT industry and more than one million technology professionals. Companies continue to seek talent for cloud infrastructure, big data analytics and fintech systems, with many roles tied to Global Capability Centres and established employers.
Target India and other firms post senior positions
Target India has 56 listed tech openings in Bengaluru for senior engineers focused on AI, cybersecurity and product management. Broader searches show 1,000-plus openings in AI, cloud, big data and fintech, with requirements for AWS, Azure, SAP and Databricks skills. Python developers with five or more years of experience are advertised at monthly salaries between 45,000 and 85,000 rupees, while data engineers are sought for GCP-based ETL pipelines.
Fresher roles for data analysts and software developer interns require SQL, Excel, Python and Java, with many listings preferring immediate or 15-day joining. Entry-level IT positions number in the hundreds on LinkedIn and Indeed, offering a route for recent graduates into the local market.
Meetups provide networking options
